The NETFA Leadership Program is open to all ages and genders, located anywhere across Australia. You may be a community member from a country where FGM/C is practiced or a professional working on FGM/C issues.
You do NOT need to have personally experienced FGM/C, but you must come from a community / country where FGM/C is practiced.

What will I learn about?
Joining our 4 month leadership program from April to July 2022 will give you a chance to learn about:
- The global campaign to end FGM/C
- Advocacy and leadership skills
- Communication and public speaking skills
- Sexual and reproductive health rights
- Podcast / video / digital storytelling skills
How much does it cost?
As a participant you will be paid a casual part-time salary for your time in weekly 2-hour sessions. We can also help with costs towards childcare or your access requirements.
What is NETFA?
NETFA stands for the National Education Toolkit for Female Genital Mutilation / Cutting / Circumcision Awareness.
The NETFA leadership program is coordinated by the Multicultural Centre for Women’s Health with support from the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet’s Office for Women.
