NETFA is an Australian project funded by the Federal Government that aims to:

• Train health professionals to better support women who have experienced FGM/C.
• Raise awareness in affected communities about the health risks and the Australian Law related to FGM/C.
• Gather more information on FGM/C in Australia.

This project brings partners together across the country to share best practice recommendations, support and resources.

NETFA is managed by the Multicultural Centre for Women’s Health – a community-based organisation led by and for women from migrant and refugee backgrounds.
