Red Cross Tasmania Bi-cultural Community Health Program (FGM)

Initiated by the Tasmanian Department of Health and Human Services in 2005 and more recently established as part of the Red Cross Bicultural Community Health Program in 2008, the Tasmanian program provides training for bilingual community workers, community education for those affected by Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting (FGM/C) and training for health service providers across the state.
